The History of Dufferin Motors & Tires

Dufferin Motors & Tires is located at 2325 St. Clair Ave. West in Toronto, ON as a tire dealer and tire service centre. Dufferin Motors & Tires is a family business, established in 1947. We are a proud sponsor of local soccer leagues, charities, and schools.

We began as a small service centre on Dufferin St. at the corner of Glencairn Ave. We used to offer full mechanical services, but second-generation owner George Atanas decided in 1980 to specialize in retail and wholesale tires. Dufferin Motors & Tires moved into our current location on St. Clair Ave. in 2002. The new location is larger and has allowed us to service a larger number of vehicles, stock more products, and offer our customers on-site tire storage.

Andrew Gorman is the third generation of the family in the business and continues to build upon the example set by previous generations. Our business is built on customer service. We know consumers have many choices so we work hard to earn and keep your business.

Our staff is MICHELIN®-trained and certified. We offer extended hours during the peak seasons.
